Guaranteed hours - 36 hrs
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specialising in Medical/Surgical care to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients throughout their recovery process.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical and surgical wards, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing post-operative recovery.
- Assist with patient assessments, develop individualised care plans, and evaluate patient progress regularly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective treatment strategies and ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient histories, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- RN license
- BLS & ACLS required.
