Position Summary
Growing manufacturing organization seeks an Accounting Supervisor to support the Controller in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and process improvements. This role will lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while helping ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Supervise and mentor AP and AR team members.
- Support financial audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
- Analyze financial results and investigate account variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
- Prepare ad hoc reports, analyses, and special projects for leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Must have strong prior Accounts Payable experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- CPA, Power BI, or Power Query experience is a plus.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
