Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple entities
- Own month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage account reconciliations and intercompany activity
- Maintain debt, fixed-asset and other supporting financial schedules
- Prepare and maintain cash-flow forecasts
- Monitor operating and project-related cash requirements
- Analyze costs, budgets and financial performance
- Identify variances and areas of financial risk
- Improve accounting procedures, internal controls and reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting activities
- Partner with leadership and operations to support financial decision-making
- Coordinate year-end reporting and tax preparation with external partners
- 3 years of hands-on accounting and finance experience
- Strong full-cycle accounting and month-end close experience
- Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting
- Real estate, property management, homebuilding or construction accounting experience strongly preferred
- Job costing and property-level accounting experience preferred
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
- Ability to thrive in a smaller, entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- CPA or CMA helpful but not required
