Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Brattleboro, VT. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2232 to $2520 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hr work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: ER/ED

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekends as needed 

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1-2 years - Required
  
• Recent/Current ER nursing/Critical Care experience: 1-2 years – Required
  
• Travel experience - Highly preferred 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  
• RN License for State of VT or Compact  - Required (Single state license can apply if willing and eligible to obtain VT license upon offer)
  
• BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
  
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC Certifications  - Required (If not active, must be willing to obtain upon offer) 
  
• ​CEN, STABLE, ENPC - Preferred 
  

Job Description:

• Work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes Board Certified ED Physicians, NP’s and PA’s, and ED Tech’s with additional support from Critical Care Float RN’s, Peer Recovery coaches, and tele-ED services.
  
• Provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process in the ER
  
• Responsible for triage, providing initial and ongoing assessment, implement nursing interventions
  
• Provide discharge teaching to adults and pediatric patients requiring emergent/urgent or critical care. 
  
• Patient population: Pediatrics to Adults
