Contract: 6 months – possible extension
Location: New York City office - hybrid - 4 days per week in office, 1 remote.
Pay Rate: W2 based on experience
Position Summary
This temporary position is responsible for overseeing the client's consumer products artwork approval process, ensuring all licensed products accurately and consistently represent the intellectual property and brand standards.
The Licensing & Brand Approvals Coordinator serves as the primary owner of the Consumer Products (CP) approval system and workflow, partnering closely with licensees and the VP of Consumer Products to review, approve, and guide the proper use of client's marks, logos, and creative assets across all licensed merchandise categories.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1 years of experience required
Desired
- Experience working with licensed consumer products or brand approvals systems
- Licenser in consumer product experience within entertainment, sports or fashion merchandising - highly desirable.
- Familiarity with artwork file formats and creative workflows
- Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
- Knowledge and passion of the sport of soccer
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage the client's product artwork approval system, including intake, review, feedback, and final approval of submitted creative assets
- Review licensee-submitted artwork to ensure compliance with league IP usage guidelines, brand standards, and contractual requirements
- Serve as the primary contact for licensees regarding artwork approvals, logo usage, and intellectual property-related questions
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to licensees to ensure timely revisions and approvals
- Maintain and help evolve brand guidelines, approval criteria, and best practices for Consumer Products
- Track approval status across categories, identify workflow bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., Brand, Legal, Marketing) as needed to ensure alignment on IP usage and brand representation
- Maintain organized records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence within the approval system
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
