Pharmacist, Days (9:30am-6pm; 1:30pm-10pm, 1-2 nights a week possible) -12 weeks, contract to hire
Environment: LTC Mail Order
Shift: M-F, days (9:30am -6pm; 1:30pm -10pm) 1 to 2 nights a week possible.
Job Duties:
Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
- Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Ensure prescriptions and pharmacy operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient and pharmacy records
- Identify and address medication-related issues and communicate with healthcare providers
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Maintain medication and supply inventory
- Provide medication management and patient education services
Required:
Pharmacy experience.
LTC experience a plus
Rhode Island pharmacy license.
Pay: $58/hr,
