What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at RPh on the Go?
We are seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with an established LTC pharmacy in Chicora, PA.
Term of Assignment: Contract assignment with the possibility of extension.
Schedule: Both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (24 hours/week) schedules are available.
Duties include:
- Checking orders entered by a data entry technician for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities and hospice.
- Checking packaged medications which are blister packed. Checking sterile and non-sterile medications.
- Answering phone calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses and physicians. Answer clinical questions.
- Counting control substances, then documenting in the perpetual inventory.
- Checking emergency boxes.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1 year of pharmacist experience (Long Term Care experience preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
Software Systems: QS1, Docutrack, and PCC
Pay: Starting at $60/hour (based on experience.)
