Position Highlights:
- Full-time, 6–12 month contract opportunity
- Outpatient/retail pharmacy environment handling approximately 65,000 prescriptions annually
- Approximately 80% of business involves 340B program operations
- Pharmacy system utilized: PrimeRx
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations with a focus on outpatient and specialty pharmacy services
- Ensure strict compliance with 340B program requirements, Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines
- Support accreditation processes including ACHC and/or URAC standards
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership, compliance, and legal teams to maintain regulatory compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation and assist with audits for regulatory purposes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New York Pharmacist license required
- Proven experience in retail/outpatient and specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of 340B program operations and compliance
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, ACHC, and URAC accreditation standards
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and compliance teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
