Seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy environment on a per diem basis with flexible scheduling on select days starting October 1st. This role is ideal for a Pharmacy professional with strong community and retail experience looking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced setting.
Location:
- Jamaica, NY
Schedule:
- Dayshift: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Initial dates: October 1, 2, 5 with continuing opportunities thereafter
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent patient care and counseling
- Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription order entry and management
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations
- Support immunization delivery as needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active, and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License required
- Proven community or retail pharmacy experience
- Immunization certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system highly preferred
- Spanish fluency is a plus; primary translation support is available from pharmacy technicians
