Calibration Technician
Rothe Development, INC. (RDI) has an immediate opening for a Calibration Technician. This position will support our commercial Calibration Lab located in Webster, Texas. RDI has been providing calibration services for over 49 years; we have a vast customer base which includes: military, aerospace, medical, academia, energy, and various other commercial and government sectors.
Position Overview:
- Responsible for performing repairs, calibrations, and general housekeeping.
- Be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the management system.
- Ensures compliance with ISO standards.
- Required to keep the Lab Manager informed of any equipment status changes that would affect its delivery. Reports any problems or needed improvements to the Lab Manager.
Qualifications: (Education, Skills, Experience):
Candidates should be proficient in one or more of the following:
- Physical Dimensional, DC & Low
- Torque
- Pressure
- Understand the objective of calibration and how to assess results.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician certification preferred or must be obtained withing 2 years of employment.
- GCAMS/TMDE/PMEL training preferred.
- This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration or a related field.
