We are partnering with a manufacturing company in the Hopkinton, MA area who is looking to add an Senior Accountant to their team. This role will oversee the day-to-day accounting function, lead the month-end close process, and partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including the General Ledger
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Compensation: $100K-$115K depending on experience
