Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing non-profit organization on a new Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have experience working on grants accounting, experience working in the GL, and experience overseeing AP/AR.
Responsibilities:
- Process all vendor invoices.
- Record all expenses in the correct GL accounts.
- Reconcile various accounts.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Create AP aging schedule.
- Ensure all grants are properly documented and processes.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience working in the non-profit industry.
- Experience working in the GL.
- Experience with grants accounting.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Personable and organized.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
