Roessel Joy has partnered with an established manufacturing company in Worcester on a new Accounting Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing teams, owning the payroll process, and owning the month-end-close.
Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end-close, financial statement preparation, and journal entry preparation.
- Work hands-on within the GL.
- Oversee AP/AR and Payroll processes.
- Work with third party auditors on the audit.
- Train and mentor staff.
- Perform some HR tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
- 7 years of accouning experience.
- Month-end-close and strong GL experience needed.
- Payroll experience needed.
- Strong management experience.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
