In this role, you’ll assist customers over the phone and email, answer benefit and eligibility questions, help resolve claims issues, and deliver a positive customer experience every day.
Job Responsibilities of the Healthcare Customer Service Representative:
- Answer customer questions regarding benefits, claims, eligibility, and payments
- Provide friendly, professional support via phone, email, and written communication
- Research and resolve customer concerns with empathy and accuracy
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist with enrollment updates and administrative support tasks
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues efficiently
Requirements of the Healthcare Customer Service Representative:
- 1 year of previous call center experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Punctuality and reliability
- Typing speed of 40 WPM
- High school diploma or equivalent
