What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Robert Half?
Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed revenue reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with a designated team member for guidance and review of work.
• Maintain organized and precise documentation following established procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to execute reconciliation and accounting tasks.
• Support month-end close processes and journal entry preparation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) duties.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and financial protocols.
• Assist with general ledger updates and related accounting activities.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to handle complex datasets.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Ability to work independently while following direction and established guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage documentation effectively.
