We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager for a position that transitions from contract to permanent employment, based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Phoenix, Arizona or remote. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to risk management, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within established timelines.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple IT projects, ensuring each phase is executed effectively and meets defined objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Identify potential risks and challenges early, creating strategies to mitigate issues and maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure project goals are met.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key milestones.
• Utilize Atlassian tools, such as Jira and Confluence, to track project progress, manage tasks, and document workflows.
• Facilitate project meetings to resolve challenges, track decisions, and maintain focus on deliverables.
• Implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Promote accountability and transparency across all phases of project execution.
• Expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously, each with varying scopes and complexities.
• Advanced proficiency in Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, for tracking, planning, and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of project plans are meticulously managed.
• Proven ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
• Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Agile methodologies, are highly desirable.
