This is a confidential search for a Head of Content who will play a pivotal role in shaping editorial direction, driving audience growth, and ensuring the company’s content becomes a revenue‑generating engine.
The Role
The Head of Content will report directly to senior leadership and oversee a remote editorial team of 2 senior editors, 5 content managers, and 1 editorial assistant. This leader will manage the full content lifecycle—from ideation to publication—across print and digital platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing annual business reports (18 titles published each year)
- Managing daily articles, newsletters, and digital content
- Coordinating with SEO and digital marketing partners to grow traffic and conversions
- Ensuring the company’s website drives subscriptions, memberships, and advertising revenue
- Implementing innovation initiatives, including AI adoption for content optimization
- Maintaining editorial standards, brand voice, and workflow efficiency
- Reporting regularly on KPIs, successes, and strategic direction
Candidate Profile
We are seeking senior‑level editorial and content leaders who bring:
- 7–10 years of experience in publishing or content leadership (print digital)
- Strong editorial judgment and storytelling skills
- Proven track record in SEO, audience growth, and conversion strategies
- Experience managing multi‑market content production in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Zoho, and CMS tools
- Comfort with AI tools and a growth mindset toward innovation
- A portfolio showcasing digital content and reports (audio/video experience is a plus)
