Role Summary
We are seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate the creditworthiness of Latin American companies for trade finance credit facilities. The role combines financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and compliance/documentation review.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements to assess liquidity, leverage, cash flow, and credit risk.
- Prepare credit memos and recommendations for new and existing credit lines.
- Review legal and corporate documentation to support credit and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with KYC/AML policies and internal credit standards.
- Monitor approved credit exposures and identify risk trends.
- Partner with Trade Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis, trade finance, or corporate banking.
- Strong experience with LATAM companies.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and credit risk.
- Spanish and English required; Portuguese a plus.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
