Responsibilities
- Receive & Inspect Shipments: Verify quantities and inspect incoming inventory for damages. Report and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Organize & Store Inventory: Ensure all items are stored neatly in their designated areas using a clear and consistent labeling system for easy access and tracking.
- Monitor Inventory & Supplies: Keep an eye on stock levels, including packing materials, and reorder items before they run low to avoid delays.
- Prepare Sample Kits for Shipment: Assemble sample kits accurately and efficiently, keeping enough prepped and ready for fast turnaround when needed.
- Pack & Label Shipments: Ensure all outgoing kits are packed to company standards, complete with packing lists and correct shipping labels.
- Inventory Counts & Reconciliation: Perform regular physical counts to confirm accuracy of inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate Daily Shipments: Schedule daily pickups with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and others to ensure timely delivery of outgoing packages.
- Maintain a Clean, Safe Space: Keep the storage room tidy and organized, ensuring aisles and access points are always clear and free of clutter.
Qualifications
- Proven office management or clerical experience with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization is essential for success in this role.
