Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis for a wind energy project in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth flow of data within the project. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
• Input and update project-related data accurately into electronic systems.
• Maintain and organize electronic filing systems to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
• Provide administrative support by preparing reports, tracking status updates, and managing changes.
• Assist with scheduling and timekeeping for project staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
• Utilize Office tools, including Excel and Teams, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to relay updates and address inquiries.
• Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies within the records.
• Monitor and report on project progress as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while working in a construction site environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in clerical or administrative roles.
• Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with scheduling and timekeeping processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Office applications, including Excel and Teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction industry setting.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
• Prior experience in the construction or contractor industry is preferred.
