Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our clients team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining healthy cash flow by monitoring accounts for overdue payments, contacting customers to resolve outstanding balances, and initiating collection procedures when necessary. You will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and past due balances, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of incoming payments, and properly applying them to customer accounts. Additionally, you will address customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account status with professionalism and care, while processing refunds and issuing credits as needed. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records, including billing and contact information. • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections.
• Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes.

• Proficiency in analyzing account data and identifying discrepancies.
