Business Analyst: II (Intermediate)

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on risk management, leveraging your analytical abilities to identify and mitigate potential business risks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various teams and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze business processes to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for risk management initiatives.
• Conduct thorough research to support recommendations for improving business operations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings and solutions to stakeholders.
• Monitor ongoing activities to ensure compliance with established risk management protocols.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to address risk-related issues and align project goals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tools to enhance risk assessment capabilities.
• Provide regular updates to management on risk-related metrics and project progress.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all risk management activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on risk management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex business processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
• Proficiency in basic office tools and software applications.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with risk analysis frameworks and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
