AML Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst to join our team in Central, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a crucial part of the AML team while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards by analyzing financial transactions and identifying potential patterns of money laundering or illicit activity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to anti-money laundering efforts and uphold financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze customer files for financial transactions exceeding $10,000.

• Prepare and submit currency transaction reports to regulatory authorities.

• Identify and investigate patterns or trends that may indicate illicit or regulated activities.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering policies.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of transaction reviews and findings.

• Stay updated on current regulations and best practices in anti-money laundering.

• Assist in developing strategies to improve the detection and prevention of suspicious activities.

• Communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards at all times.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements based on analysis results.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in financial transactions.
• Proficient in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards governing financial transactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
