Job Summary
Drive structural integrity for airframe products by performing expert static stress and fatigue/damage-tolerance evaluations. Working alongside design teams, this role validates complex assemblies using classical and numerical methods to ensure regulatory compliance and high-performance structural optimization for metallic and composite aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer innovative solutions for highly complex technical structural challenges.

Execute F&DT and static stress assessments for metallic and non-metallic airframe parts.

Generate technical reports and documentation to support design reviews and drawing releases.

Interface with internal engineering groups and external partners to resolve technical hurdles.

Advance structural analysis methodologies and oversee their application in final designs.

Guide and mentor junior analysts in structural mechanics and material behavior.

Direct specific work packages within large-scale engineering projects.

Define project milestones, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Maintain clear technical communication across all organizational tiers.

Determine and implement effective corrective actions for structural discrepancies.
Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on structural curriculum.

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience analyzing primary aircraft structures.

Proven expertise in both composite and metallic airframe analysis.

Mastery of classical stress analysis and finite element modeling (FEM).

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

Direct experience applying fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) principles to aviation.
Ideal Qualifications
- Professional familiarity with SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.

Advanced technical skills using NASTRAN and FEMAP.

Proven leadership in structural validation and technical mentorship of staff.

Experience drafting formal documentation for aircraft certification and sign-off.
