Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $1,000 – $1,500/week — Based on experience and qualifications
Relocation Assistance: Travel support provided
Shift: Residential with one full day off weekly; includes daily breaks and team-based coverage

Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive medical care in an active outdoor setting for a premier summer program. This role manages daily clinical needs, from routine triage and medication rounds to sports injury response, functioning similarly to a school health office within a dynamic, residential camp environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage common illnesses and minor physical injuries for campers and staff.
Administer first aid and perform triage, specifically regarding sports and water-based activity incidents.
Coordinate the organization and distribution of daily medications with precise documentation.
Prepare necessary medical supplies and prescriptions for off-site excursions.
Maintain clear communication with camp leadership, clinical colleagues, and parents regarding health updates.
Assist counseling staff in addressing the physical and emotional wellness of the camp population.
Ensure a visible and reassuring presence throughout the campus to promote a safe environment.
Support the medical team during urgent situations or emergency responses as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Active certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
At least one year of professional experience in pediatrics, emergency care, school nursing, or sports medicine.
Current and valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
Ability to live on-site for the full duration of the summer contract.
Competency in independent triage and clinical assessment within an active outdoor environment.
Strong collaborative skills for working within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
