Job Summary
Step into a central infirmary nursing role supporting day-to-day medical needs for campers and staff at a residential Maine summer camp. A great fit for RNs who enjoy pediatrics, think well under pressure, and want a purposeful summer living and working in the same place.
Key Responsibilities

Attend a camp health orientation led by the Nurse Coordinator and Medical Director at the start of the season

Help maintain health records, treatment documentation, and insurance files throughout the summer

Assist in completing required reports including accident documentation and insurance paperwork on schedule

Track and support inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and medications

Contribute to daily health summaries covering camper and staff visits, illnesses, and injuries
Minimum Requirements

Active RN license in good standing; Compact license accepted

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Must be at least 21 years of age

Able to live on-site for most or all of the camp season

Clear communicator with a team-oriented working style

At ease working with children in a fast-paced, community-focused setting
Ideal Qualifications

Prior experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or camp health (helpful but not required)
