Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $1,400–$1,700/week — Based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary
Become a working member of a structured camp health team on the Maine coast—supporting daily infirmary operations under experienced clinical leadership. A natural fit for an RN who is pediatric-minded, steady under pressure, and ready to spend a summer doing meaningful work in a beautiful setting.
Key Responsibilities

Complete the camp health orientation led by the Nurse Coordinator and Medical Director before the season gets underway

Support the upkeep of health records, treatment notes, and insurance documentation across the full summer

Contribute to required report completion including accident documentation and insurance paperwork within established deadlines

Monitor and assist with inventory management for medical supplies, equipment, and medications throughout the season

Play an active role in producing daily health summaries that capture camper and staff visits, illnesses, and injuries
Minimum Requirements

Current RN license in good standing; Compact state license accepted

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Must be 21 years of age or older

Prepared to live and work on-site for most or the entirety of the camp season

Direct, effective communicator who functions well within a close-knit team

Comfortable and confident working around children in a busy, community-driven camp environment
Ideal Qualifications

Any background in pediatrics, school nursing, or camp health is a genuine advantage, though not a requirement to apply
