Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $1,200–$1,400 per week (based on experience)
- Relocation Assistance: Travel reimbursement offered

Job Summary
We're seeking a compassionate, energetic, and friendly Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who loves working with kids and thrives in a dynamic, outdoor camp environment. This role is vital in promoting a safe and healthy experience for campers and staff by providing hands-on medical care, health education, and a reassuring presence throughout summer.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care, triage, and first aid for campers and staff
- Administer daily medications and track treatments per individual health plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in line with privacy guidelines
- Monitor and manage health trends in the camp (e.g., colds, hydration, sun exposure)
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and local medical providers as needed
- Keep the camp Health Center clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Educate staff and campers on hygiene, safety, and wellness best practices
- Collaborate with camp leadership to develop emergency plans and respond effectively to medical incidents
- Accommodate campers with chronic or special health needs (e.g., allergies, diabetes)
- Contribute to a supportive, friendly atmosphere that prioritizes camper well-being
Minimum Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license in Maine or compact state.
- At least 1 year of experience serving children/youth in a medical capacity
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Ability to live on-site for the duration of the camp season
