What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Plant Controller position at Ringside Talent?
We are looking for a Manufacturing Plant Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and present the annual plant manufacturing budget for direct labor, material yields, operating outputs, and departmental overhead spending, including the development of product cost standards
- Lead month-end and quarterly financial forecast processes for the manufacturing operation
- Provide Manufacturing and Plant leadership with financial reporting and analysis to support plant operations and financial objectives.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and customer service while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance with GAAP
- Identify, lead and implement process improvements in both the Financial and Accounting parts of our business with the appropriate involvement of plant, interplant, and central accounting partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- At least 6 years of accounting or finance experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
- Prior manufacturing plant experience and or cost accounting highly desired
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and link to business implications
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
