What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at Ringside Talent?
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist the Controller in the month-end financial closing and reporting process by ensuring financial results are reported timely and accurately.
- Produces ad-hoc in-depth analyses as needed for review by management using enhanced data-driven insights that will influence overall business decision-making.
- Provides advanced financial analysis including economic modeling, cash flow analysis, and concise financial reporting for large cross-functional innovation projects.
- Responsible for the timely completion of external financial statements under US GAAP
- Lead the audit process, including acting as the key point of contact with auditors, to ensure a successful and timely audit outcome
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement process improvements to accelerate close timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong focus on improving processes and systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and employees
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
