Our client is seeking a Product Manager,Custom Built Platform to own and evolve a proprietary, internally developed platform that supports critical business operations. This role partners closely with engineering, stakeholders, and leadership to define product vision, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver high‑value solutions. The position is remote, with candidates based in Columbus, Ohio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a custom‑built internal platform
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams
- Gather, define, and prioritize product requirements based on business needs and user feedback
- Translate complex requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning support, and ongoing roadmap refinement
- Balance feature development, technical improvements, and platform scalability
- Analyze product performance, usage data, and feedback to guide prioritization
- Partner with engineering, QA, and leadership to ensure high‑quality delivery
- Drive continuous improvement of the platform and product management practices
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Product Manager supporting custom or internally built platforms
- Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements
- Comfortable prioritizing competing demands in a complex environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting enterprise or cross‑functional platforms is a plus
