Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting leader who thrives in a structured environment while still driving continuous improvement in reporting processes. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency, while partnering with leadership to elevate reporting capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
• Manage the external audit process and coordinate with auditors
• Develop and maintain internal controls related to financial reporting
• Oversee the preparation of technical accounting memos and disclosures
• Identify and implement process improvements in reporting and close cycles
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Mentor and develop team members within the reporting function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 6 years of experience in financial reporting or technical accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience with external audits and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to improve and streamline reporting processes
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor others
• CPA certification strongly preferred
