This hybrid role in Cleveland, OH blends strategic finance responsibilities with hands‑on analysis tied directly to manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate understands plant‑level financials, cost drivers, and the importance of partnering closely with operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to manufacturing operations
- Support cost accounting activities, including standard costing and variance analysis
- Partner with operations and plant leadership to provide financial insights
- Analyze manufacturing KPIs such as labor, material, overhead, and inventory
- Support month‑end close through accruals, analysis, and reporting
- Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and margin enhancement
- Support financial models and decision support for operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5 years of finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing financials
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency with Excel and financial reporting systems
- Ability to partner cross‑functionally with operations and leadership
- ERP system experience preferred
