Desktop Support Technician (Contract)
Location: Sedalia, MO (100% Onsite)
Duration: Approximately 2–3 Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a short-term PC deployment project. This individual will help image new computers, replace existing user devices, and provide basic desktop support as part of a company-wide hardware refresh.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a short-term PC deployment project. This individual will help image new computers, replace existing user devices, and provide basic desktop support as part of a company-wide hardware refresh.
Responsibilities
- Image and configure new desktop and laptop computers
- Swap out existing user devices with newly imaged equipment
- Perform basic workstation setup and deployment
- Ensure users are successfully transitioned to their new devices
- Troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues during deployments
- Document completed device installations as needed
- Work closely with the IT team to complete the project on schedule
- Previous desktop support or IT support experience
- Experience imaging Windows computers (MDT, SCCM, Intune/Autopilot, or similar tools is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move desktop equipment as needed
- Reliable and able to work onsite Monday through Frida
