What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at Insight Global?
Title: Deskside Technician
Location: Liberty, MO - onsite 5 days a week.
Duration: Contract until Sept 17th, 2027 - could convert after this depending on budget
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (depends on experience)
Start Date: July 13th
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-5 CST (potential for occasional night or weekend work)
Must Haves:
- 1 years in hands on enterprise desktop support (Troubleshooting skills with monitors, desktops, printers, devices, wire management)
- Experience with imaging and domaining hardware
- Basic knowledge of Windows systems and active directory
- A very basic understanding of Excel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have reliable transportation
- Soft skills - detail oriented, can hold a conversation well, great customer service, presents themselves well / professionalism, and a go getter
- Ability to pass a 12-pannel drug test, which includes marijuana
- Comfortable working in a hospital environment (Up to date or willing to get up to date on standard vaccinations (flu, tetanus, etc)
Plusses:
- NECM or SCCM or Intune
- Familiar with HP desktops and laptops
- Windows 11 experience
- Healthcare or Epic
