RemX is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator / Purchasing Expeditor to support a growing manufacturing operation in Pelzer, SC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, solving delivery issues, and helping ensure the materials needed for production are available when required.
This position serves as a key connection between suppliers and internal teams, helping maintain inventory flow and supporting on-time production schedules.
Location: Pelzer, SC, 100% onsite
Pay: Up to $40/hr

Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers regarding outstanding orders and confirm expected delivery dates.
- Proactively address shipment delays and work to accelerate delivery of high-priority materials.
- Partner with purchasing, planning, logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to support material availability.
- Communicate changes in supplier schedules and help minimize production disruptions.
- Review inventory status and assist in resolving supply shortages.
- Maintain accurate order and delivery information within company systems.
- Track critical materials and provide updates on open orders and supplier performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support production and customer commitments.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with reporting related to inventory status, open orders, and material availability.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, inventory control, materials management, planning, or manufacturing support.
- Experience working directly with suppliers and managing open purchase orders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using ERP systems; Oracle experience is highly preferred.
- Understanding of inventory management, supply planning, or material flow concepts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
