- Schedule: Must be able to work an 8hr. shift between 8:00 AMβ8:00 PM EST
- Start Date: October 5
- Equipment Provided: Laptop, keyboard, two monitors, mouse, and headphones
- Drug Screening: Not required
- Background Screening, Employment & Education Verification: Required
π©Ί What You'll Do
As a Program Specialist, youβll serve as an important resource for patients and healthcare providers by helping them navigate insurance coverage and access available therapies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to insurance verification and patient benefits.
- Verify insurance coverage, deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, and patient eligibility.
- Determine whether prescribed therapies qualify for available benefit or financial assistance programs.
- Assist patients with navigating websites, enrollment processes, and available insurance options.
- Process patient applications and determine eligibility according to program guidelines.
- Document insurance verification results and patient interactions accurately.
- Follow up with patients and healthcare providers as needed.
- Identify barriers preventing patients from accessing prescribed therapies and take ownership of resolving those issues.
This position requires a strong medical insurance background. Please apply only if you meet the experience requirements below.
β 2 years of recent, high-level medical insurance experience β REQUIRED
β Strong experience within the U.S. healthcare and reimbursement industry
β Experience with insurance verification and benefits
β Comfortable assisting Medicare patients

β Excellent verbal and written communication
β Strong customer service and patient-support skills
β Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications efficiently
