About The Position
Under the direction of the Associate Director of PACE, the PACE Quality Manager is responsible for developing, organizing, and monitoring the PACE Quality Improvement Plan. This position is responsible for collecting data from all sources; tracking, analyzing, and trending the data; and creating reports to be shared with all stakeholders. The Quality Manager oversees the process to evaluate and resolve medical and non-medical grievances by participants, their family members, or representatives.

This position is responsible for collecting data from all sources; tracking, analyzing, and trending the data; and creating reports to be shared with all stakeholders. The Quality Manager oversees the process to evaluate and resolve medical and non-medical grievances by participants, their family members, or representatives.
Overview Of Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing the QI annual plan for PACE and guiding the implementation of the plan, in conjunction with the Medical Director.
- Works collaboratively with the Medical Director to establish quality initiatives and priorities.
- Responsible for collecting data from all sources; tracking, analyzing, and trending the data; and creating reports to be shared with all stakeholders.
- Communicates and educates on the QI Plan to participants, staff, contractors, and administration, and submits the plan to the governing body for approval.
- Develops, monitors, and submits quarterly quality reports via CMS’ Health Plan Management System (HPMS).
- Establishes and attends quarterly participant advisory committee meetings.
- Integrates and presents PACE quality education into orientation and training for new staff.
- Acts as a lead for investigating and developing action plans for incident reports.
- Develops, implements, and analyzes quality studies and quality surveys.
- Assures that all medical records documentation requirements are met, and that records and data of all types are maintained per policies and procedures and are retained for the state and federal mandated period.
- Coordinates internal quality audits and corrective action in collaboration with other PACE leadership.
- Manages preparations for site visits and inspections.
- Participates in formulation and maintenance of PACE policies and procedures.
- Complies with CMS PACE regulations as they pertain to this role.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or five (5) years of relevant experience in a health-related field. Registered Nurse preferred.
- Minimum Experience Required: At least five years’ experience in a hospital or clinical setting, including experience in quality assessment and improvement.
