practices, emotional needs/barriers, desire and motivation, physical and/or cognitive limitations, language barriers and the complexity of the assessment required by the
patient. This includes the type of technology employed in providing care and factors that must be considered to make appropriate decisions regarding the provision of care.

Overview Of Responsibilities
- Successful completion of Reid Hospital orientation and competency based skills appropriate for the area assigned. Individual performance and competency based skills are maintained
- through ongoing assessment of competence and educational activities. Written evaluations are done on an annual basis.

- Must have the ability to work cooperatively with all staff, physicians and departments.
- Must be committed to Patient Satisfaction and Patient Safety.
- Unit/Department/Service Area Specific
- Serves as primary resource for EP service development and maintenance. Performs and assists physicians, technologists, nurses and other staff members with interventional diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to: Electrophysiology, Cardiac Cath and Vascular procedures; Assists with Process Improvement, Assists with quality improvement and quality assurance; Customer relations (patients, physician, inter-departmental, intra-departmental); OnCall support when needed; Other duties as assigned. t
- Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and comfort patients and their families, and maintain contacts with a variety of internal and external staff. Recognizes and reinforces positive efforts of the health care team/co-workers. Addresses issues in a tactful and timely manner.
- Experience as determined by work area and hospital in order to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of unit, departmental policies and procedures. Must fulfill established quality and quantity standards for the job.
- Ability to operate all EP Lab equipment.
- Knowledge of supply types and management of supply levels.
- Ability to troubleshoot EP generators and stimulators.
Education & Experience
- Education Required: Registered Nurses License or Radiology Technician License required
- Education Preferred: 2 years of clinical experience that includes training in EP Cath Lab
- Registered Nurse or Radiology Technician
- Must maintain competence in BLS/ACLS after initial training.
