Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:  M-F and weekends as needed

Position Overview:

Regent Restoration is seeking reliable and physically capable Movers/Lifters to support our contents division. This role focuses on safely moving, loading, and transporting household items after they have been professionally packed, typically in response to restoration projects such as water, fire, or storm damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to handling clients’ belongings with care and professionalism.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time 

• Work may take place in residential homes, storage facilities, and job sites

• Schedule may include weekdays and occasional weekends depending on project needs

• Physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely move furniture, boxes, and household items from residential properties to trucks or designated storage areas

• Load and unload contents in an organized and secure manner to prevent damage during transport

• Assist with inventory checks to ensure all packed items are accounted for

• Protect property by using proper lifting techniques and equipment (dollies, straps, padding, etc.)

• Work closely with the packing and restoration teams to ensure efficient job completion

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and work areas

• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

• Provide respectful and professional service when interacting with customers on-site

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50–100 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday

• Strong work ethic and reliability; punctuality is essential

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Previous moving, warehouse, or labor experience is a plus but not required

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Basic English communication skills required; bilingual is a plus
