Essential Job Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Prepares the dining room and patio for guests by cleaning tables and setting condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, cleaning chalkboards, and lettering specials on chalkboards.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Supports wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash container liners, and bus stations.
- Cleans chairs and tables, sweeps and/or vacuums floors, and removes trash and recyclables to close the dining facility.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.

Experience/Education Preferred:
- High School diploma, equivalent, or still in school

Work Environment: While performing duties of this job, the employee is exposed to long periods of standing, both in the restaurant and outside patio in the summer. Working at night can be a difficult adjustment to most employees’ schedules.
