Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Your compassion and expertise will empower individuals with speech difficulties to regain their communication skills and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders.

2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and individual needs.

3. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.

4. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to individuals with speech and language disorders.

5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, educators, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated care.

6. Monitor and track progress of individuals under your care and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

7. Educate and train individuals and their families on speech exercises, techniques, and strategies for effective communication.

8. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy by attending workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities.

9. Keep accurate and detailed records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

10. Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment for individuals of all ages.

11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by relevant governing bodies.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

2. Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist.

3. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

4. Experience working with individuals of all ages, including children and adults.

5. Sound knowledge of various communication disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.

6. Ability to conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and implement therapy effectively.

7. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills required for patient interaction and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

8. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to adapt treatment plans based on individual progress.

9. Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records.

10. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing speech therapy practice.

11. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
