Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for clients with speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conducting initial evaluations to assess clients' speech and language abilities

2. Developing individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs

3. Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills

4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

5. Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

6. Educating clients and their families on speech therapy techniques and home exercises

7. Keeping detailed records of clients' assessments, treatment plans, and progress

8. Staying up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of speech therapy

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

3. State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

4. Experience working with clients of all ages and abilities

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

7. Knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy techniques

8. Patience and empathy when working with clients
