Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize an active litigation caseload
- Assist with document review, production, and privilege logs
- Prepare pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, trial lists, and other litigation documents
- Coordinate depositions and prepare exhibits
- Monitor court dockets and electronic filing notifications
- Organize voluminous document productions
- Maintain case-status spreadsheets
- Assist attorneys throughout the pretrial, trial, and post-trial phases
- Complete state and federal e-filings
Qualifications
- Three to five or more years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Civil litigation experience required
- Defense-side litigation experience is helpful but not required
- Professional liability, insurance defense, employment litigation, commercial litigation, or personal injury defense experience is a plus
- Experience supporting discovery, depositions, pleadings, document production, and trial preparation
- Familiarity with court websites and e-filing procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage sensitive information and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates whose litigation experience is limited exclusively to family law will not be considered
