What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Salmon Bay Law Group, PLLC?
We seek a kind, reliable, detail-oriented individual to support our administrative needs, with a focus in the area of probate. Our paralegal must be highly organized and resourceful, work well on a team, and enjoy learning new skills. Our paralegal will support our attorneys and also take responsibility as a key person within the firm.
Schedule: 25 to 35 hours per week. In-office position with some potential for hybrid work. Hours can flex somewhat.
Compensation: Competitive pay and bonus structure. Benefits after 90-day trial period include paid time off, retirement plan, convenient parking, and health benefits.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Our paralegal will perform a broad range of administrative and office management tasks for the law firm.
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and spoken; attention to detail; and knowledge of Office 365 (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) are required. Knowledge of law-firm operations is a plus but not required. Knowledge of probate paralegal work is desirable.
- Tasks may include, among others: handling a range of probate tasks, including preparing routing draft documents, assisting with document signings, and filing documents online with the courts and county recorders; organizing and maintaining paper and data files; assisting with invoicing; maintaining calendars and tracking deadlines; assisting with estate planning documents, and arranging and witnessing at document signings. Additional administrative tasks as needed.
Salary : $36,400 - $69,160
