Join a growing 4-person BI team at a fast-expanding community bank. Own the design, development, and delivery of reporting, dashboards, and insights using the bank’s Microsoft stack and Jack Henry core banking system. Focus on proactive problem-solving, data integration, and enabling data-driven decisions across the organization as customer volume and complexity increase.
< dir="auto">Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operations, risk, lending, deposits, and executive leadership
- Write complex SQL queries and develop ETL processes (primarily SSIS) to pull and transform data
- Integrate new data sources into the reporting environment when required (light system integration work)
- Partner with business units to translate requirements into actionable reporting solutions
- Continuously improve data accuracy, performance, and usability of BI assets
- Support ad-hoc analysis and regulatory reporting needs
- Real banking industry experience (community bank, regional bank, or credit union strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Jack Henry core banking systems (SilverLake, CIF 20/20, Core Director, Symitar, or Episys)
- 3–7 years as a BI Analyst / Data Analyst in a Microsoft environment
- Advanced SQL (writing and performance tuning)
- Power BI (dashboard design, DAX, data modeling)
- ETL development (SSIS required; other tools a plus)
- Ability to extract and work with data from core banking platforms (especially Jack Henry)
- Proactive “figure it out” attitude
- Strong communication – can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable in a small, growing team where everyone wears multiple hats
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with strong relevant experience.
