Position Summary:
Our partner, an innovative company transforming the relocation and travel industry, is seeking a BI Data Analyst to support their leadership team with critical data insights. As BI Data Analyst you will be responsible for owning reporting, analytics, and data modeling while working directly with executives to answer business questions that drive growth and strategy. In this role you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of projects and building solutions even when requirements aren’t fully defined. The ideal candidate will design dashboards, craft visualizations, and write complex queries that turn raw data into actionable insights. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can communicate clearly with leadership, translate ambiguity into structured solutions, and deliver accurate reporting that supports high-visibility decisions.
Experience and Education:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience/field
- Background in business intelligence or data analytics within complex data environments
- Experience building dashboards and advanced reporting in BI platforms, Sisense strongly preferred
- Hands-on SQL query development, with exposure to scripting for statistical or data manipulation tasks
- Exposure to ETL setup or data pipeline development
- Experience working directly with leadership or client-facing teams to interpret business requests into analytics

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate raw data into actionable insights
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting needs
- Configure and maintain Sisense elastic cubes and other BI datasets
- Design ETL processes to prepare and structure data for analysis
- Translate business questions from executives into clear analytical approaches
- Deliver reporting and analysis that support client needs and internal decision making
- Provide statistical analysis using Python, R, or other scripting when needed
- Validate data accuracy and ensure reporting consistency
- Present findings to leadership with clarity and precision
- Identify gaps in data and create new datasets as required
- Work independently to manage analysis projects from start to finish
- Partner with leadership to prioritize reporting and analytics requests
- Ensure BI solutions are scalable, accurate, and business-driven
- Serve as the in-house subject matter expert for BI tools and practices
