Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, lawn care, and landscaping to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various maintenance projects.
- Conduct irrigation system inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
- Carry out snow plowing, de-icing, and winter weather response to keep pathways clear during inclement conditions.
- Maintain hardscape features such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through repairs or cleaning.
- Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, planting, or removal as needed.
- Support general building maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, equipment servicing, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor maintenance work.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic building repairs is highly desirable.
- Hands-on knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery like excavators or similar equipment.
- Experience with horticulture practices including gardening and tree care techniques.
- Ability to operate snow plows or similar winter maintenance equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to landscaping, construction, and equipment operation.
