What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Capt. Thomson's Resort?
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to support the day-to-day upkeep and appearance of our three hotel properties in Alexandria Bay. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable experience for our guests visiting the beautiful 1000 Islands.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on our facility grounds, including upkeep of our 2 seasonal outdoor pools
- Complete daily work orders and respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Ensure all work is completed safely and up to company standards
- Assist with seasonal opening/closing of properties
- Porting supplies as needed between our 3 properties
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Previous property or hotel maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and painting preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
