Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, with experience in hotel housekeeping management and industrial cleaning practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for various surfaces and materials.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
